Founded in 1877, GH Peers is a friendly, alcohol-free bowls and snooker club at 69 St George's Road, Wallasey. The club welcomes players of all abilities and keeps respect, community and good sport at the centre of club life.

GH Peers Club is a long-established community club and registered charity (charity no. 1000920). It provides a calm, respectful place to play, meet and take part in club life.

The club is alcohol-free and open to people who value friendly competition, shared standards and a traditional club atmosphere with a cleaner, more modern presentation.

The Bowls Section at G.H. Peers Club is at the heart of our 150-year history and provides a welcoming environment for both new and experienced players.

Played on a well maintained crown green bowling green, which is one of the oldest in the area, bowls at Peers combines friendly competition, fresh air and great company.

Whether you're looking to play socially, take part in club competitions, represent the club in league fixtures or simply try something new, our members are always happy to help you get started.

We can provide bowls for beginners and offer guidance from experienced players, making it easy for anyone to have a go. With regular matches, social events and a strong sense of community, the Bowls Section continues to be one of the club's most enjoyable and inclusive activities.

The Snooker Section at G.H. Peers Club offers one of the finest amateur snooker facilities on the Wirral.

Home to four, recently refurbished and well maintained, full-size match tables, the club welcomes players of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners looking to learn the game to experienced league and tournament players.

Members enjoy a friendly, respectful atmosphere, regular competitions, organised events, coaching opportunities and excellent playing conditions maintained by a dedicated team of volunteers.

Whether you're looking for serious match practice, a social frame with friends or simply a welcoming place to enjoy the game, G.H. Peers provides a high-quality snooker experience in a unique alcohol-free environment that has been serving the local community for generations.
